Industrial Box PC Intel Core i7 8700 3 Gigabit LAN 2 PCIe Slots 9-36V Computer

The EIPC-MIS08-2E is a fully enclosed modular industrial box PC built into a finned all-aluminium chassis with active fan cooling. It supports 6th, 8th and 9th generation Intel desktop processors and adds two expansion slots to the standard design, making it suitable for control cabinets, machine vision and edge servers that need extra PCIe or PCI cards. Without the mounting bracket it measures 197 x 255 x 133 mm, and 234 x 255 x 139 mm with the bracket fitted.

The interface panel carries a 9-36V Phoenix terminal power input, VGA and HDMI display outputs, three Intel Gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB 3.0 ports, four COM ports, external power-switch and power-LED terminals, power and HDD indicator LEDs, a three-hole audio jack, a power board module and a power switch. Optional items include a four-port MXM LAN module that adds four more Intel i210 ports for seven Gigabit ports in total, plus Wi-Fi, 4G or 5G antenna terminals.

A dedicated motherboard with the Intel Z390 chipset drives an Intel Core i7 8700 processor (6th/8th/9th Gen desktop CPUs optional) with CPU-integrated graphics supporting VGA and HDMI, or optionally DVI or a second HDMI. Two DDR4 SODIMM slots support up to 64 GB of memory, and storage can combine M.2 SSDs with two 2.5-inch drive bays configured as RAID 0 or 1. Two expansion slots take a PCIe x16 plus a PCIe x4 card, or a PCIe x16 plus a PCI card, and optional GPIO and light-source modules round out the platform.

The EIPC-MIS08-2E suits industrial control, machine vision and edge-server roles that need extra expansion cards. Two PCIe/PCI slots, three Gigabit LAN ports expandable to seven, six USB 3.0 ports and four COM ports let it host frame grabbers, motion cards or network cards alongside cameras, PLCs and meters, while RAID 0/1 storage, up to 64 GB of memory and VGA plus HDMI output support data-logging and inspection tasks.

Each unit ships in protective packaging suited to its modular aluminium chassis and is mounted with a bracket. Processor, memory, storage, RAID, expansion cards, network modules, GPIO and light-source modules and the power adapter can be configured to match project requirements.
